The Charlie Darwins are an independent (unsigned) Dark pop, trio from St. Johns, Portland, Oregon. They originally formed in April of 2012 by Guitarist Gerald Love, Drummer Nick Mentillo, and Bassist Duncan Ros. Ros left the band summer of 2012. Shortly after the band found local veteran bass player Robert Denman. Denman helped solidify the band’s sound with his driving and inspired bass lines.
